Ok, super funny. Yes. Completely accurate descriptions of parts of LA. Yes. But there are magically lots of people getting laid here. I don’t exactly know where they are, or who they are….but I assure you Mr. Lubel, it ain’t because the girls are turning every guy down. No….Just NO. Maybe it’s because when assholes (note, I’m not saying nerd, I love nerds, hit on gorgeous women (also not saying anything about myself…) they get turned down for being asses. Just a thought.
I often will hear a song on the radio. Find it on youtube. And then play it nonstop. And with the amazing invention you might have heard of (if you haven’t, what rock have you been hiding under?) known as SHAZAM, it makes my job of figuring out the songs and trying to remember what the singer might have been singing that much easier. So last week, I heard a song, shazamed it, and this weekend looked it up on youtube and have since been playing it nonstop, per the usual. And per the us, I want to know what the hell is being said. As the first REAL holiday approaches (were you counting Memorial Day?) since I started this blog, I think it is important to note how much holidays can suck being single. Like, they are awful. With so many holidays as a single lady, I can’t be the only one that allows myself to envision the day going one way (you know, meeting the love of my life, or even the love of my night), except he never shows. And I am stuck on New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, St. Patty’s Day, Mardi Gras, Passover (laugh if you must…but all you singletons out there know what I mean), Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday, and coming up on Monday, THE FOURTH OF JULY!
